This Coach trip to Broadstairs took place on Saturday 12th July 2025.  Our annual coach trip to Broadstairs began under glorious sunshine, with plenty of chatter about the recent heatwave and the soaring temperatures. Spirits were high as we set off, but as we neared the coast, the blue skies gradually gave way to grey and overcast conditions.

While Farnborough basked in a balmy 28°C, Broadstairs greeted us with a noticeably cooler 20°C—catching many of us off guard without a cardigan or jumper in sight! Despite the cooler weather, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. The beach was bustling with visitors, and several of our younger (and braver!) members even took a dip in the sea, where the water temperature was a brisk 15°C. Young and hardy indeed!
