Plaque in memory of Foster Raine

On Sunday 16th July 2017 a new plaque on Farnborough War Memorial was dedicated in memory of Signalman Foster Raine. He was killed in 1942 whilst serving in the Royal Navy in the waters off Nigeria

Quiet Day Retreat

A party of twenty-four, plus Matthew, our leader, set off for Burrswood on Saturday, 22nd April at 9am from St.Giles centre. Some regular Burrswood “attendees” made their own way there and not in convoy. Expectations were high and the mood happy.

Easter in the churchyard

On Good Friday there was the Stations of the Cross Family Service, followed by hot cross buns around the open fire, and on Easter Sunday a dawn Eucharist service.

Visit to Rochester Cathedral

On Tuesday 4th April 2017 a party of nearly 30 St. Giles and St. Nicholas members journeyed to Rochester for a conducted tour of the cathedral led by John Bailey.
