WORLD WAR 1 FLOWER FESTIVAL


  To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, St. Giles held a special Flower Festival.in the church on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November.,

There were many arrangements and displays appropriate for this occasion. The display was organised by Doreen Wilson, Valerie Bailey and Fiona Milton. Read Descriptions.

Also on display were the stories of some relatives of current parishoners who saw service callated by Fiona Milton.

To help support this event donations were invited in memory of any relative who served in, or was killed, in the First World War.
